Clare College is seeking a Tutorial and Admissions Assistant. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute across the wide range of activities undertaken by the College Office. Throughout the year, the College Office undertakes a number of student-focussed projects that are vital to the success of the College. These include undergraduate admissions, the accommodation ballot, Freshers Week and Matriculation, exam season, and the organising of graduations.

The Tutorial & Admissions Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to, and co-ordination between, students, Fellows, and non-academic staff across these flagship projects. This role would suit someone who enjoys combining creative thinking and problem solving with accurate and reliable administrative skills.

Salary and Benefits

  • Remuneration will be up to £26,708.
  • There will be a four-month probationary period.
  • The role holder will be eligible to join the College’s contributory pension scheme after three months’ service.
  • The post holder would be eligible to park at the College, receive a bonus every year, and meals on duty.
  • Membership of a defined salary-sacrifice pension contribution scheme and a Healthcare cash plan is also offered.
