Clare College invites applications for the role of Support Services Assistant.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Conference and Events team in running events within the College, and will carry out College tasks at any of our three sites (Castle Court, Memorial Court, Old Court) .

Responsibilities include setting up conference/event meeting rooms according to conference/event requirements, supporting the maintenance of the College telephone system, and assisting the Housekeeping Department with the movement of heavy furniture.

The hours of work will normally be 37.5 per week spread over 5 days in any 7 on a flexible shift basis.

It is essential for the successful candidate to have a full, clean and valid driving licence.

Salary and Benefits

The annual salary will be up to £26,000 dependent on experience.

In addition to the basic salary the post holder would be eligible for a bonus every year, free meals on duty and will have access to various other benefits, details of which are below.
