Clare Blatherwick FGA DGA is a discreet, independent jewellery advisory business offering clients an exceptional alternative to the High Street.
Operating from a private studio in North Berwick, East Lothian, we work closely with clients to source or create outstanding pieces of fine jewellery - whether bespoke, antique, vintage, or contemporary. We also offer help with selling collections, insurance valuations, and are regularly asked by private banks, brokers and wealth managers to meet with their clients. We hold a series of events throughout the year and our time in the Studio is on a \'By Appointment\' basis.

Role Description
This is a highly flexible part-time on-site role for a Jewellery Designer and Sales Associate. You will work alongside a small and happy team, meeting clients and designing bespoke jewellery as well as redesigning existing pieces. Additionally, the role requires engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalised assistance. As a small business we work on an \'all hands on deck\' basis so the role will be varied and certainly never dull.
Qualifications
- Experience in Jewellery Design
- Strong drawing skills (we are open to developing our in house Computer-Aided Design (CAD) offerings too)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site setting
- Previous experience in retail or sales is beneficial
- Creative vision and fastidious attention to detail
