A leading professional services firm is looking to hire a Risk & Assurance Associate Director to join their Consulting function. This is a non-client-facing internal role, supporting a broad range of forensic, digital, cyber and regulatory initiatives. The position would suit an experienced risk, governance or assurance professional seeking a diverse role within a collaborative and growing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing technical assurance across forensic, digital, cyber and regulatory projects.
- Reviewing scopes of work, reports and documentation to ensure compliance and quality.
- Supporting governance frameworks across data, cyber, AI and transformation initiatives.
- Contributing to risk assessments, incident response processes and maintenance of risk registers.
- Assisting with cyber security reviews and information security controls.
- Supporting internal guidance, documentation and training.
Requirements:
- Experience in risk, governance, compliance, audit, cyber or similar technical fields (typically 7+ years).
- Exposure to forensic, fraud, digital or transformation-focused environments.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards, technology governance or cyber frameworks.
- Ability to assess technical documentation, controls and risks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Beneficial experience includes:
- Forensic tools, analytics platforms, AI/data environments, ISO standards, data protection, cyber frameworks, or relevant industry certifications.
