We are exclusively partnering with a global real estate business to appoint a Legal Assistant. This role will focus on the management of legal and corporate documentation across the business, working closely with the Legal and Company Secretarial functions and reporting to the UK General Counsel.
Candidates should have strong document management skills and be confident taking ownership of key document processes while maintaining accuracy and completeness. The role requires excellent attention to detail and a consistent ability to work carefully with important legal documentation. Job Requirements
- Review, classify and manage legal and corporate documentation across the Legal and Company Secretarial functions, ensuring records are accurate, complete and well maintained.
- Use your legal understanding to identify document type, status, governing law, relevant entity and overall matter context.
- Maintain and organise legal and company secretarial templates, precedents and guidance materials to support efficient document management.
- Coordinate document execution processes, including both electronic and wet-ink signing arrangements.
- Monitor execution progress and liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisers to help ensure timely completion.
- Provide administrative and documentation support to the UK Company Secretarial team.
- Support the maintenance of entity records, statutory registers and corporate structure information under appropriate supervision.
