We are working as sole agency with a fund management firm looking to hire an Investment Compliance Manager to join their business in a newly created role. This individual will act as a key stakeholder in the Compliance function, working closely with the business on a day-to-day basis. They will provide advice while also being required to bring a strong Investment Compliance background, ideally with knowledge & coding experience of the Blackrock Aladdin system. Candidates should have strong communication skills, work autonomously when required, and have excellent product knowledge, particularly LDI strategies. Strong communication and training skills are a must as this role will have an important role in the continued education and training of staff across multiple office locations globally. The role requires a minimum of 3 days in the office and will ideally cover market hours, 8am-5pm.
Job Requirements
- Manage the Compliance Module on Blackrock Aladdin, overseeing coding, amendments, and resolving trade alerts.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies to fulfil regulatory obligations, with emphasis on Market Abuse, Regulatory Reporting, EMIR, and Order Execution.
- Support risk-based compliance monitoring and testing.
- Address emerging compliance issues with management and third parties.
- Strong knowledge of LDI strategies for pension funds.
- Deliver staff training on compliance policies and procedures.
