We are exclusively recruiting for an award-winning property consultancy seeking to appoint a Head of Compliance & MLRO.
The role will lead and enhance the firm’s compliance, governance and risk management framework, providing strategic direction and independent regulatory oversight across the partnership.
This role can be based in either their London or Birmingham offices.
- Main Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the firm’s compliance strategy and framework, aligned to business objectives.
- Act as trusted, independent adviser to the Partnership Board and senior leadership team.
- Design annual compliance plans and risk-based monitoring programmes, identifying, assessing and mitigating compliance and regulatory risks.
- Maintain compliance risk registers, reporting frameworks and AML policies, procedures and controls.
- Oversee client due diligence, enhanced due diligence, and the review of internal suspicious activity reports.
- Provide oversight of major contractual reviews and strategic oversight of health and safety compliance.
- Proven knowledge and experience gained within a Real Estate or property-related environment is essential
