Do you want to make a real difference to people’s experience at Clarasys? We’re looking for a People Partner to join our People team and support our consultants, coaches and leaders day to day as we grow. This is a core People Partner role for someone with solid HR foundations, good judgement and the confidence to handle employee relations matters well, while also building trusted relationships across the business. It is also a great opportunity for someone ambitious and energetic who wants to stretch in a high-trust environment. You’ll have real ownership, meaningful exposure across the business, and the chance to make a visible difference to how people experience Clarasys day to day. You’ll be managed directly by our Chief People Officer and join a People Partner team of two, giving you both close support and room to grow. You’ll also be joining a business with an award-winning culture and a strong focus on a progressive employee experience, including recognition for several consecutive years in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work awards.

Alongside the core People Partner remit, this role has a clear ownership area in performance management. You’ll help our performance management approach land well across the business by supporting its day-to-day running, improving how it works in practice, and making sure processes and guidance are clear, practical and easy to use. This is not a major redesign brief. It is an opportunity to take real ownership of an important area, make it better over time and grow your impact with support from the wider People team.

What’s in it for you

  • This role is a good fit for someone who wants to build breadth as a strong People Partner generalist in a high-trust, dynamic, fast-evolving environment.
  • Take real ownership of a meaningful area of People infrastructure rather than just keeping BAU moving.
  • Work closely with our Chief People Officer and two other People Partners, with strong exposure to senior thinking and decision-making.
  • Develop quickly through a mix of day-to-day partnering, employee relations, facilitation and continuous improvement work.
  • Make a visible impact in a business that genuinely cares about employee experience and is recognised for its culture.
  • Bring fresh energy and ideas while growing their scope and impact over time.

What you’ll be doing

Working closely with a group of our consultants, coaches, leaders and the wider People team, you’ll:

  • Support people across the full lifecycle at Clarasys, providing trusted advice with empathy, sound judgement and appropriate challenge.
  • Build trusted relationships with individuals, teams and leaders and bring a strong business partnering lens to the people issues we are helping to solve.
  • Help maintain a strong coaching model and facilitate key performance management conversations and forums.
  • Contribute to projects, policies and process improvements that strengthen people experience and help us scale well as we grow.

A key focus area in this role: performance management

A defined part of this role will be taking ownership of the day-to-day running and improvement of our performance management approach. This includes:

  • Helping embed the approach consistently across the business.
  • Facilitating key processes and forums so they run smoothly and create clarity for those involved.
  • Spotting where the experience, workflows or guidance are unclear or inefficient and improving them.
  • Making sure core processes are clearly documented, practical and easy to follow.
  • Gathering feedback from users and using it to shape sensible improvements over time.
  • Partnering closely with the wider People team on priorities, decisions and changes rather than working in isolation.

We’re looking for someone who can bring consistency, energy and ownership to this area, while helping it evolve thoughtfully over time.

What this role is not

It is not primarily about setting the whole People agenda, leading the team, or owning the highest-complexity and highest-risk people work across the business. It is a strong mid-level People Partner role for someone who enjoys the core generalist remit, is confident supporting Coaches and Line Managers through people matters, and is excited by the opportunity to grow in the role and own and improve an important people process.

What you’ll bring

  • Around 4-7 years of total HR or People experience.
  • Around 2-4 years in a genuine People Partner, HR generalist or similar people-focused role.
  • Experience in professional services, consulting or another high-trust, dynamic, complex environment is preferred.
  • Strong grounding in core HR practice, including confidence handling employee relations matters with good judgement and appropriate sensitivity.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with leaders, coaches and colleagues across the business.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to balance day-to-day support with improvement work.
  • Resilience and sound judgement, with the ability to stay grounded and effective through challenge, ambiguity and change.
  • A self-starter mindset, with the confidence to take ownership, move things forward and spot what needs attention without needing close direction.
  • Confidence facilitating meetings and conversations in a way that creates clarity, consistency and a positive experience.
  • Comfort using AI in a practical, thoughtful way, alongside systems and processes, to improve efficiency, clarity and consistency.
  • A genuine interest in performance management, employee experience and continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative style and the ability to work through others to get good outcomes.

We’d still love to hear from you if your experience doesn’t match every part of this description exactly. We’ve shared this as a guide to the kind of profile we think could thrive in the role, not as a rigid checklist.

You and your values

You’ll be someone who connects with the values that shape how we work at Clarasys:

  • Trust underpins everything we do.
  • I can be who I want to be at work.
  • I love my work.
  • I own my impact.
  • I have the humility to reflect and learn.
  • I have the courage to do the hard things.
  • We have beautifully different perspectives.
  • We help each other grow.
  • We, as teams, deliver excellence.

Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing, development and life outside work, including:

  • 25 days of annual leave, plus 3 discretionary company-wide Christmas closure days and the option to buy or sell up to 5 days each year.
  • Quarterly Clarasys Team Reward based on overall profit, annual profit share, peer reward and referral bonuses.
  • Pension, death in service cover, income protection and access to financial guidance.
  • Private medical insurance through Vitality Plus, enhanced sick leave and wellbeing support.
  • Personal learning allowance and weekly coaching.
  • Enhanced family leave policies and workplace nursery.
  • Salary exchange hybrid working, home working equipment support, a mobile phone allowance, cycle to work and pro bono days.
