As a Lead-to-Cash Business Architect at Clarasys, you are the technical and functional heartbeat of our Lead-to-Cash (L2C) projects. You translate business ambition into architectural reality. You won't just be sitting in high-level strategy sessions; you will be "in the weeds" with functional leads to ensure that the process and technology solutions will deliver on the business objectives. You'd be a part of our world class consulting team, experience as a consultant in a consulting firm or as an internal business architect is key to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Ownership: Lead the design of end-to-end L2C solutions. You ensure that process flows are logical, data transitions are clean, and the "handshake" between Sales and Finance is seamless.
  • Functional Advisory: Act as the primary advisor to Heads of Sales Operations, Billing Managers, Technical Product Owners and Solution Architects, helping them navigate the trade-offs between "out-of-the-box" software features and bespoke business processes.
  • Delivery Excellence: Manage the day-to-day execution of L2C workstreams. You’ll ensure the team stays focused on the right requirements and that the final solution solves the client's actual pain points.
  • Bridging the Gap: Translate complex sales, fulfilment, finance and legal requirements into functional specifications that developers and configuration specialists can build without ambiguity.
  • Selling our skills and expertise: Act as the pre-sale architect for L2C projects, scoping technically viable engagements that directly address and resolve the client’s core business friction, showcasing Clarasys’ knowledge and expertise and working closely with our technology partners.
  • Mentorship & Growth: Lead and coach small teams of Consultants. You’ll be responsible for their quality of work and helping them develop their own L2C and Business Architecture expertise.

The Requirements:

  • Experience: 6-12 years in technical consulting, solution consulting or internal Business Architecture roles, with a proven track record of delivering Lead-to-Cash / Order-to-Cash projects.
  • Process Mastery: Deep knowledge of Sales, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), Order Management, and Billing. You know where these processes typically break and how to fix them.
  • Solution experience: A strong functional understanding of the L2C ecosystem: CRMs primarily Salesforce, Hubspot and Dynamics, Billing platforms such as: SF RCA, Zuora, Stripe and billing platform, ERPs such as: NetSuite, sage, SAP and Oracle. You don't need to be a developer, but you must know what the tech can and cannot do and be able to advise clients on how to utilise it.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and influence mid-to-senior management (Directors/Heads of Dept) and keep diverse project teams aligned.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using data to identify revenue leakage or process bottlenecks and presenting those findings clearly to the project board.
