Claranet’s strategy is to build long term, trusted relationships with customers by delivering secure, resilient, and high quality managed services. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer underpins this mission by ensuring critical infrastructure services are engineered, operated, and evolved to meet stringent regulatory, availability, and recovery expectations.

  • Senior Technical Leadership
    • Act as the recognised NSX-T authority within the Hosting team.
    • Own NSX-T design standards, reference architectures, patterns and build documentation.
    • Deliver structured knowledge transfer, training and mentoring to raise NSX-T capability across the team, reducing single-person dependency.
    • Represent platform networking in design authority, change advisory and architecture forums.
    • Own the NSX-T upgrade and lifecycle roadmap across the estate.
    • Lead root cause analysis for major incidents.
  • Financial Services & Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure infrastructure and backup services comply with financial services regulations and frameworks (e.g. FCA, PRA, DORA, ISO 27001, SOC).
