The role:
You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from start to finish, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages and transfers of equity
- Matters involving personal representatives, attorneys, trusts and matrimonial aspects
- Post-completion work handled accurately and independently
You will also:
- Liaise proactively with agents, lenders and other third parties
- Keep clients fully informed throughout their transaction
- Ensure matters are progressed efficiently and to a high standard
- Support colleagues with technical input where needed
- Build strong working relationships with referrers and professional contacts
- Take part in networking, training and business development activities
About you:
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or equivalent
- Proven experience managing a broad residential conveyancing caseload
- Comfortable handling more complex matters such as shared ownership, new builds and lease extensions
- Confident resolving technical issues and title defects
- Highly organised, calm under pressure and client focused
- Happy to be involved in networking and relationship building locally
Working pattern and flexibility:
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), typically Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm with a one hour lunch break. Hybrid working is available once you are up to speed with your workload. Some travel and occasional out of hours working is expected for networking, meetings and training.
