About the Role
You’ll be leading the Residential Conveyancing team and playing a key role in the strategic development of the department. This includes managing your own caseload, building and maintaining referral relationships, and representing the firm across local networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Residential Conveyancing team
- Manage your own caseload of residential transactions (sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity)
- Develop and nurture referral relationships in the local market
- Attend and represent the firm at client events and networking activities
- Support, mentor and grow a collaborative team
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver departmental goals
What We\’re Looking For:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (minimum of 4 years PQE but up to almost any level of qualification) with diverse and comprehensive experience in residential property
- Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures
- Proven ability to develop new business and foster referral relationships
- Local market knowledge and contacts are highly desirable
- Confident communicator with a commercial mindset
- Comfortable working flexibly and independently as well as collaboratively
- Driven to build something of your own, while contributing to a wider team
