About the Role
As Head of Employment Law, you’ll manage a broad caseload of both contentious and non-contentious work, advising a diverse client base that includes individuals, SMEs, and business owners. - Maintaining high levels of client service and building trusted relationships
- Contributing to strategic business development and achieving departmental goals
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE and strong experience in Employment Law
- You need not be operating as a Head of Department now, you just need the desire to do so
- A confident litigator and advocate with tribunal experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering practical, client-focused advice
- Strong team leadership skills and the ability to nurture talent
- A proactive and positive approach to working in a collaborative environment
What’s on Offer:
- Hybrid/flexible working arrangements
- Company pension scheme
- Health cash plan
- Ongoing professional training and development
- Team events and a supportive culture
- Discounted parking options
- Office closure between Christmas and New Year
Location & Working Hours:
Office base: Chelmsford or Leigh-on-Sea (your choice)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
