We’re working with a successful, full-service London firm that has an award-winning property team, an interesting client base and a reputation for developing its people. They are looking to appoint two Residential Conveyancers, creating an opportunity for candidates at different stages of their careers.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for your own residential conveyancing matters, with the level and complexity of the caseload tailored to your experience. Your work is likely to include:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Lease extensions
  • Remortgages and associated matters
  • Managing transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process
  • Liaising with agents, lenders and other professionals
  • Maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to the continued success of the wider property team

About You

The firm is open to candidates from NQ through to around 5 PQE, so don’t be put off if you don’t have years of post-qualified experience. You could be a:

  • Newly Qualified Solicitor with strong residential property experience
  • Solicitor with 1–5 years’ PQE
  • Licensed Conveyancer
  • Chartered Legal Executive
  • Experienced Residential Conveyancer

What matters most is that you have a solid grounding in residential property, can manage your matters effectively and genuinely care about delivering a good service to clients. You’ll ideally be confident dealing with a busy caseload and enjoy client contact. Strong communication and business development skills would be an advantage, particularly for someone looking to progress their career.
