We’re delighted to be supporting a highly regarded law firm that is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its specialist Charity practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting charities of all sizes, enjoys working closely with trustees, and wants to be part of a collaborative team that is committed to excellence and client care.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting the firm’s charity clients across a wide range of matters, including:
- Creating and registering new charitable entities.
- Advising trustees on their role, duties, and powers.
- Supporting charity mergers and asset transfers.
- Preparing policies and governance documentation.
- Closing and de-registering charities.
- Liaising with the Charity Commission and advising on regulatory issues.
- Collaborating with colleagues in property and employment on charity-related matters.
Alongside your client work, you’ll also be involved in:
- Supervising and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Business development and networking to grow the charity practice.
- Contributing to the wider success of the Private Client team.

About You

- Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE, with solid experience working with charities of different sizes.
