Flexibility That Works -The firm believes that collaboration matters, particularly when joining a new team. Full-time lawyers typically spend four days in the office initially, reducing to three days once established. Part-time applicants are also warmly encouraged to apply, with four-day working patterns particularly welcomed.

The Role

You will manage a broad range of employment matters, including:

  • Advising employer clients on day-to-day HR and employment issues
  • Employment Tribunal litigation
  • Disciplinary, grievance and capability matters
  • Redundancy and restructuring projects
  • TUPE and business transfers
  • Drafting employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements
  • Supporting clients with strategic employment law advice
  • Working closely with Partners on more complex and high-value matters

About You

We're keen to hear from Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives who have:

  • Around 3-8 years' PQE in employment law
  • Strong experience advising employer clients (preferred)
  • Excellent technical skills and commercial awareness
  • A genuine enthusiasm for building long-term client relationships
  • A collaborative approach and desire to be part of a supportive team
  • The ability to travel to the Ipswich office three to four days each week
