Based in Head Office, Belfast but this role will be mobile. 37hrs per week. Salary: £30,326.67 - £33,884.13 per annum.

A bit about the role: These exciting posts allow us to provide our tenants with a great customer experience. As Maintenance Technician, you will work alongside our Response Assets team by carrying out minor repairs to assist us in providing great homes for our tenants. Duties will include joinery, basic plumbing, tiling, groundwork, and basic DIY repairs/tasks.

A bit about you: You will need a minimum of three years recent experience in a similar trade role such as carpentry or joinery, knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and good practice in relation to handyperson/building maintenance duties and a wide understanding of the building industry including knowledge of materials, trades and methods. Experience of using computer packages is also essential. Previous training in a relevant course e.g. Constructions Skills Register (CSR), Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), health and safety, fire awareness etc. is desirable but not essential, as is previous experience working within a social housing maintenance environment.

You will hold a full clean driving licence and be flexible in terms of the hours of work as it may be necessary to carry out some work in the evenings or weekends. A company vehicle will be provided.
