Our Property Security Warden will ensure the safety of our tenants and the schemes they live in.
Responsibilities:
- Be a liaison between the tenants and the Association, participating in positive promotion of the scheme.
- Monitor, report and record details of events within the schemes including anti-social behaviour, vandalism, neighbour nuisance and complaints.
- Contact emergency services and Housing Officer.
- Liaise with Housing staff to review CCTV images and download where necessary in accordance with the CCTV Policy.
- Carry out inspections and safety checks at the schemes and note any defects or repair needs to the Housing Officer.
- Cover security of the schemes for the benefit of the tenants, ensuring entrances and exits to the scheme are kept closed and secure.
Skills and Qualifications:
- One years’ experience working in a Security/Caretaker role.
- One year’s relevant experience working with customers.
- Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work a shift pattern which will include weekends.
- A valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence.
