We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our busy UKPN Energy Alliance, working across Dartford and London sites. This is a key leadership role, reporting to the Contracts or Project Manager, with responsibility for managing and monitoring programmed works to maximise productivity, control costs, and deliver contractual objectives.
Working closely with our dedicated UKPN team, you will lead site teams undertaking a wide range of works across the energy network, playing an important role in supporting the successful delivery of client and contract requirements.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in
- Managing and monitoring programmed works to maximise output, profitability, and cost efficiency
- Ensuring you and your team comply with DSR, Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures and practices
- Developing strong working relationships with clients, project team members, and key stakeholders
- Carrying out relevant testing procedures and accurately documenting results, ensuring high-quality asset records are maintained
- Making sure site teams are suitably trained, equipped with the correct materials, and that sites are left safe and compliant for other trades and the public
We would love to hear from you if…
You have extensive experience working in a similar role within the utilities, construction, services, or infrastructure environment, with a strong track record of managing people and demonstrating commercial awareness.
You will hold SSSTS or SMSTS as essential, along with Streetworks (NRSWA) Supervisor accreditation. An IOSH qualification and a recognised qualification such as an HNC are required, with a civil engineering qualification, HV electrical experience, and First Aid training considered highly desirable.
Experience in substation projects, involvement in project management activities, and strong HV electrical and civil engineering knowledge would be advantageous. A full and valid UK driving licence is essential.
