We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced White Works Reinstatement Team Leader to support framework operations across Aldershot and the surrounding area. Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and the direct labour workforce, you will plan, organise, and support field resources to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of reinstatement and site clearance activities.

This role will suit someone with proven experience operating as a white work reinstatement team leader or in a similar supervisory capacity, with responsibility for maintaining standards, productivity, and compliance across live highway environments. This position plays an important role in supporting business objectives while maintaining a strong health and safety culture and delivering a professional service to both clients and the public.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in:

  • Leading a team delivering high-quality reinstatement works, including relaying slabs, kerbs, and block paving in accordance with SROH standards.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and instructing operatives to ensure productivity, safety, and quality expectations are consistently achieved.
  • Ensuring Signing, Lighting and Guarding (SLG) is installed and maintained in line with Chapter 8 requirements.
  • Working in compliance with NRSWA regulations while maintaining safe, clean, and well-organised sites.
  • Coordinating daily activities with site management teams and ensuring materials such as mortar, concrete, and paving materials are available when required.
  • Supporting efficient site operations, including waste management and housekeeping.
  • Capturing site photographs, completing accurate work records, and ensuring reinstatements remain defect-free within warranty periods.
  • Maintaining a professional and courteous approach when dealing with client representatives and members of the public.
  • Resolving site-based issues quickly to maintain programme delivery and quality standards.

We would love to hear from you if you have demonstrable experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor and strong all-round knowledge of reinstatement works, including both white top and black top materials such as concrete, modular surfacing, and bituminous products. You will have a good understanding of the construction or water utilities sector.

You will demonstrate practical problem-solving ability, strong organisational skills, and the confidence to coordinate day-to-day site activities while maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety requirements. A valid Streetworks (NRSWA) qualification is essential, alongside demonstrable experience delivering reinstatement works to specification. A full, clean UK driving licence is required, including 7.5 tonne and towing capability or HGV entitlement, as the role involves regular travel across the operational area.

The successful candidate will hold essential certifications including Street Works accreditation, Cat & Genny, First Aid, Abrasive Wheels, and Water Hygiene, together with a full driving licence with towing capability. Desirable additional training includes Manual Handling, Deep Excavation or Safe Excavation, Asbestos Awareness, and Face Fit certification, although these are not mandatory.
