Clancy are working on an exciting framework in Newport, South Wales, where we will be constructing several Primary Substation enhancements for SSE Energy Solutions. As a result, we are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to package manage the Mechanical and Electrical works on site.

Here are just some of the activities you’ll be getting involved with:

  • Review Design outputs
  • Assist with the creation of RAMS/ITPS for related works
  • Assist with material orders
  • Supervise the team completing the works
  • Substation earthing installation
  • Supervise Panel wiring within substation control panels
  • Installation and termination of secondary equipment such as commando sockets, isolators, lights, switches, sockets
  • Interface with NGET, SSE DA, End Users

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:

  • Bachelors or master’s in electrical engineering OR similar vocational experience
  • Level 3 C&G 2357 Electrical Installation
  • C&G 2339-17 or equivalent
  • Level 3 Power Networks Craftsperson Qualification
  • ECS Gold card
  • C&G 2396 Inspection and Testing (advantageous)
  • 18th Edition BS7671 wiring regulations

Any of the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • SSE Authorisations
  • Emergency First Aid at Work
  • EUSR
  • IPAF 3a 3b
  • PASMA
  • Ladder association Inspector & User
  • Gas Safe
