We have an opportunity to join our team, supporting the maintenance and repair of the wastewater network. This is a great role for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, doesn’t mind being outdoors in all weather conditions and takes pride in helping keep essential services running.

Working alongside an experienced Team Leader, you’ll gain further exposure across the wastewater and drainage sector while being part of a supportive and knowledgeable team environment. No two days are quite the same, and the role offers a good mix of problem-solving, teamwork and physical activity.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved with:

  • Supporting the identification and repair of wastewater and drainage network defects
  • Assisting with investigations into blockages, flooding and network issues
  • Carrying out inspections and ensuring equipment is safe, operational and fit for use
  • Working in line with risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Supporting reactive and planned maintenance activities across the network
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health, safety and environmental standards
  • Working closely with operational teams to deliver a high standard of service

We would love to hear from you if you have previous wastewater or drainage experience, along with a good all-round understanding of the utilities, construction or water industry. A practical approach, strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions are all important for success in this role. A full UK driving licence is essential, and a Streetworks (NRSWA) qualification would be highly beneficial.
