We do what we say
So that’s why we’re keen to hear from people like you, people who make it their business to get things done!
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Alliance, a partnership between Anglian Water, Clancy and Kier. Through our 'Best for Task' approach, colleagues from any Alliance partner organisation are welcome to apply. If successful, you will remain employed by your current organisation on your existing terms and conditions while working in a role hosted by another Alliance partner.
Working alongside a Project Manager, you'll support projects from planning through to delivery, helping to improve processes, solve challenges and achieve successful outcomes across the Alliance. This role offers valuable experience in project delivery, continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their career and broaden their skills.
You'll be organised, proactive, and confident communicating with people at all levels.
Here are just some of the activities you’ll be involved in:
- Work with teams to identify problems and find better ways of working.
- Review how services are delivered and suggest improvements for customers and operational teams.
- Support the review of process documents, guidance and communications.
- Help plan and coordinate training with the Training and Development team.
- Prepare project updates and performance reports.
- Track project risks, issues and actions, helping to keep work on schedule.
- Arrange meetings and maintain project records.
- Support the preparation of business cases, including costs and expected benefits.
- Lead small improvement projects from planning through to delivery.
- Keep colleagues and stakeholders informed throughout projects.
- Create and manage project plans to ensure successful delivery.
We would love to hear from you if…
You have strong organisational and project coordination skills and enjoy working with a wide range of people. You'll be a confident communicator who can build positive relationships across teams and explain information clearly and simply. A customer focused approach is essential, along with the ability to manage priorities and support projects from planning through to delivery. Experience using SAP would be an advantage. Most importantly, you'll be proactive, collaborative, and keen to help drive improvements. A full driving licence is essential.
