We’re innovative
That’s why we need people like you to help us. People who enjoy finding new ways to solve problems and get things done.

At Clancy, we're committed to keeping water flowing for our customers and communities. Working in partnership with Southern Water, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of leakage reduction, network improvements, meter installations and clean water infrastructure projects across the region.
You'll be responsible for managing multiple programmes of work, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. Working closely with operational teams, clients, supply chain partners and stakeholders, you'll lead the successful delivery of construction activities across live water networks while maintaining excellent customer and client relationships.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping Southern Water reduce leakage, improve network resilience and deliver sustainable solutions for the future.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in...

  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of leakage and network improvement projects.
  • Leading programmes of meter & PRV installation, mains renewals and clean water infrastructure works.
  • Developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets and resource plans.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in full compliance with company and client standards.
  • Managing project performance, risks, opportunities and commercial outcomes.
  • Working closely with operational teams, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Southern Water and key stakeholders.
  • Monitoring project progress and implementing solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Reporting on programme performance, financials and delivery metrics.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and identifying efficiencies across the contract.
  • Promoting exceptional customer service and ensuring minimal disruption to local communities

We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate...

A proven track record of delivering construction, utilities or infrastructure projects, ideally within water, leakage or wider utility networks. You'll be confident leading teams, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for someone with excellent planning, budgeting and problem-solving skills, a strong focus on health, safety and risk management, and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes. A full UK driving licence is essential. Experience working on water utility frameworks, particularly with Southern Water, along with qualifications such as SMSTS, APM or PRINCE2, knowledge of leakage reduction programmes and network optimisation, and NRSWA accreditation would be beneficial.
