We Do What We Say and We Care

That’s why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done and want to develop their experience in the world of utilities.

We're looking for Water Rehabilitation Team Leaders to join our team, leading rehabilitation and repair works across the clean water network in the Penzance and Camborne area.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading by example and supporting the safe and efficient delivery of essential water infrastructure projects.

As Team Leader, you'll oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, to a high standard and in line with programme requirements, while mentoring and supporting your team.

Here are some of the activities you will get involved in...

  • Leading the safe delivery of water main rehabilitation and repair works across the clean water network.
  • Carrying out and supervising rehabilitation techniques, including slip lining, pipe bursting, directional drilling, mains connections and open-cut works.
  • Locating and repairing water mains defects.
  • Ensuring equipment and systems are fit for use, maintained and fully operational.
  • Completing risk assessments and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Supporting, mentoring and coaching less experienced colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Using underground service detection equipment, including CAT and Genny, to ensure safe excavation practices.

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate...

You'll have previous experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Lead Operative within the clean water sector, together with a good all-round knowledge of water network operations and the wider construction industry.

Previous experience in water main rehabilitation is highly desirable, particularly involving techniques such as slip lining, pipe bursting, directional drilling, mains connections and open-cut works.

However, if you have a strong clean water background and leadership experience, we'll provide training to further develop your rehabilitation expertise.

You'll have a strong focus on health and safety, experience using underground service detection equipment such as CAT and Genny, and the ability to motivate and support your team to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.

A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.

An NRSWA qualification and a CSCS card (or equivalent) are highly desirable, while experience operating plant such as diggers or excavators would also be advantageous.
