The Role

As an Excavation Operative at Clancy, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and ensuring the safety of wastewater treatment facilities. You will be reporting to an experienced Team Leader and working within a team undertaking multiple activities. This includes deep excavations, Caissons, installation of sewer pipelines and manholes, ensuring minimal disruption to residents, as well as meeting the projects target and deadlines.

Here are some of the activities you’ll be involved in:

  • Operate and maintain wastewater treatment processes, ensuring effective treatment of wastewater.
  • Prioritize safety by adhering to all procedures and regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests to monitor and maintain water quality standards.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment for facility longevity.
  • Keep accurate records of daily operations, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
  • Work closely with team members to achieve operational goals.
