Responsibilities

  • Own the Sales Game: crush sales goals by delivering exceptional customer experiences, upselling must-have accessories, and promoting promotions to drive revenue.
  • Piercing Excellence: participate in comprehensive training as a piercing expert; guide customers through piercings, educate on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions and concerns throughout the process.
  • Keep It Fresh: maintain an appealing store with effective displays, organized inventory, and easy-to-shop layouts.
  • Team Collaboration: support the Store Manager, motivate the team, share sales tips, and create a positive, high-energy environment for customers and coworkers.
  • Brand Representation: showcase Claire’s products and services; stay aligned with fashion and social media trends to assist customers in finding their style and boost sales.
  • Store Operations: oversee store operations with efficiency and flair, including inventory management, cash handling, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotions.
  • Create Shareable Moments: encourage customers to share their Claire’s purchases on social media to amplify engagement.

About You

  • Sales-Driven Energy: you enjoy making sales, hitting goals, and turning browsers into buyers.
  • Social & Digital Savvy: you recognize trends and know how to translate them into a great customer experience.
  • Customer-First Mentality: you understand people and aim to make them feel confident and empowered.
  • Retail & Leadership Experience: at least one year of retail experience, with some leadership or sales-driving responsibility preferred.
  • Ready to Hustle: you are organized, self-motivated, and continuously looking to improve.
  • Passion for Fashion: you stay up to date with trends to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
  • Ability to Create Looks: you can curate a fashion look with product during your shift.
  • Piercing Availability: able to conduct piercings and support customers, including those who may be anxious or young.

Job Requirements

  • Proficiency with a POS system to process transactions and support smooth store operations.
  • Minimum high school completion with at least one year of retail management experience.
  • Physical ability to stand during shifts and lift 11–35 kg (25–75 lbs); ability to bend, reach, and climb ladders or step stools as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with customers, employees, and management.
  • Strong math skills for inventory, sales analysis, and cash handling.
  • Ability to work independently in some store locations.
