We are seeking to appoint a passionate Teacher of Physical Education for girls' sport at Claires Court School to join our highly committed and professional team. The post would suit a practitioner who is committed to raising standards at all levels and enthusing pupils through their passion for teaching and coaching sport. This is a full-time maternity cover post, required from April 2026.
To be successful in this role, you must be:
- A skilled sporting enthusiast specialising in either Hockey, Netball or Gymnastics
- Suitably qualified with QTS
- Able to teach GCSE or A-Level Physical Education
- Knowledgeable with sport science or sports related degree or a range of coaching qualifications
- Experienced teaching sport, either as a coach or PE teacher
- Engaged with the school's ethos, thinking creatively and reflectively within an open, honest and hardworking team
- Ready to utilise the benefits of an independent curriculum that is innovative and flexible in terms of delivery and content
