We have an exciting opportunity for a level 3 Nursery Practitioner working with children ages 2 - 4. This is an all year round post, working 42.5 hours per week between the hours of 07:30 am and 6.00 pm at Ridgeway, The Thicket, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 3QE. The post is one of a team of Nursery Practitioners who work within the Nursery to provide structured play and development opportunities for children in early years.
Qualifications
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant childcare qualification or very willing to train.
- Have previous experience working in an early years setting.
- A good level of English and numeracy.
- Able to create safe, happy and stimulated play activities.
- A responsive team player.
- Engaged with the school's ethos, thinking creatively and reflectively within an open, honest and hardworking team.
- Able to demonstrate a strong and obvious commitment to pupil welfare and safeguarding and a clear understanding of child protection issues.
