About the Role
We are recruiting several part-time Domestic Assistants to work across our three school sites in Maidenhead. Roles are available on a term-time (36 weeks) and full-year (52 weeks) basis, with a range of morning and afternoon shifts. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. The role includes use of cleaning equipment and machinery. Full training is provided.
Available Shifts
- Morning Roles: 05:00 – 09:00 (Term Time)
- 05:00 – 10:30 (Term Time)
- 06:00 – 11:30 (Term Time)
- 05:00 – 09:00 (Full Year)
- 05:00 – 10:30 (Full Year)
- 05:00 – 13:00 (Full Year)
- Afternoon Role: 15:00 – 18:00 (Term Time)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness across allocated areas to school standards
- Follow cleaning schedules set by the Supervisor
- Safely use equipment, machinery, and cleaning materials
- Ensure correct handling and storage of chemicals and PPE
- Keep equipment maintained and storage areas tidy
- Report hazards, defects, or maintenance issues
- Provide cover for colleagues when required
- Attend training and support across school sites if needed
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Person Specification
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- High standards and attention to detail
- Willing to learn and follow procedures
- Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential
