Our hospice supports children and young people with life limiting conditions, alongside their families, and we believe that great food plays an essential role in holistic care. We are looking for a Hospice Cook who shares this belief and takes pride in preparing meals that truly make a difference to people's day.
About the role
We are seeking a warm, flexible and motivated Part Time Hospice Cook to join our catering team. Working alongside our Head Cook, you will plan, prepare and serve high quality, nutritious meals for children, families, staff and visitors, including catering for special dietary requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and health and safety, while adapting to the changing needs of a busy and caring hospice environment. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys cooking with purpose, working as part of a supportive team, and contributing to a service that genuinely matters.
