We are currently recruiting for a Senior Claims Operations Analyst on behalf of our client, a very highly regarded and well respected Lloyd's Syndicate. The role will focus on maintaining the highest level of reporting and data quality from within the Claims team, whilst being a key point of contact for stakeholders, both internal and external. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful and growing insurer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Claims Leadership Team to deliver a claims strategy that aligns with the company's key strategies.
  • Maintaining an ultimate level of claims data quality and integrity, unrivalled in the London Market.
  • Managing and training the claims team to adopt and comply with changes to practice, process, guidelines, and controls.
  • Ensuring the implementation of the Bordereaux Management Solution has minimal impact on reporting, and taking ownership of the integrations into the data layer.
  • Being the central custodian of the company's Catastrophe volumes, values and associated coding.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards for the tracking of actual vs expected loss, utilising loss ratios used by each product.
  • Working with various key stakeholders in the business, namely Line Underwriters, Pricing, and Actuarial Exposure Management.
  • Managing a central log of all our Event and Catastrophe codes.
  • Improving the company's claims reporting and MI suite.
  • Performing Lloyd's regulatory data reconciliations (such as OBM, OMA & Solvency II), as well as regular CAT submissions.
  • Conducting regular (weekly) reviews of the claims data to identify potential anomalies and data quality issues.

Key Requirements

  • Experience of working within a similar Claims Operations focused role, with a strong understanding of finance and claims terminology / associated data points, fields and processes.
  • A strong focus on numeracy, data and management information.
  • Understanding of SQL coding, and building / navigating Power BI reports, is preferred but not essential.
