Senior Claims Adjuster Commercial D&O and Transactional Liability

We are recruiting for a Senior Claims Adjuster, Commercial D&O and Transactional Liability onbehalf of an extremely well-regarded London Market Insurer.
The successful candidate will evaluate and process claims accurately, as well as use analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement in the use of TPAs andthird-party experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigating and resolving complex claims of a specialist nature.
- Partnering with colleagues to perform data analysis work and provide valuable insightsthat improve claims performance.
- Managing estimates and billings calculated by clients and brokers to resolve discrepancies.
- Identifying subrogation, contribution and other recovery issues.
- Managing disputed and material claims issues in order to resolve and settle on an economic basis.
- Ensuring claims files are compiled and maintained in a logical and accessible manner andthat items are clearly documented at all times.
- Supporting the development of relationships with internal and external customers.
- Producing regular statistical and analytical claims information to Claims Leadership,Risk Managers and Senior Management.
- Managing complex and disputed claims matters, including in-depth claims analysis andtrends to provide expert guidance.
- Providing mentoring and career development to colleagues to strengthen theircapabilities, build functional expertise and foster a collaborative environment.
Key Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of technical claims handling in a claims function,operating in a highly regulated environment.
- Strongunderstanding of delegated and third-party claims management from a technical,commercial, and operational perspective.
- Proven track record of working in a claims environment within aspecialised/complex claims area.
- Recognisedqualification(s) and/or good practical knowledge of the insurance regulatoryframework.
- Relevantcommercial experience of the general insurance industry and claims trends.
- Proficientin MS Office applications; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ableto produce MI and detailed reports at various levels.
