We are currently recruiting for an Operations Analyst on behalf of our client, a dynamic Lloyd's Syndicate with a growing reputation in the market. This is a fantastic opportunity, particularly for anyone looking to start their career within the insurance industry, with the chance to join an expanding, dynamic company in a full 360 role, where you'll gain exposure to all functions within the business. This role is primarily bordereaux focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing operational support to various functions within the company.
- Reviewing complex warnings and failed validations emanating from bordereaux processing, ensuring that this part of the company functions smoothly with no interruptions.
- Optimising the system configuration / operational processes.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency in underwriting processing.
- Ensuring that reporting to stakeholders is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Resolving complex risk capture queries from outsourced providers and internal stakeholders.
- Undertaking data quality sampling, and compiling results / reporting for management.
- Working closely with the Underwriting and Claims teams, ensuring that operations run smoothly in all areas.
Key Requirements
- Recent graduates with office experience, looking to build a career within the insurance industry, will be considered for this role, as well as candidates with up to 1 year's worth of insurance experience.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with reporting applications and data, with the ability to build and update reports.
