We are recruiting for a Wordings & Quality Assurance Specialist on behalf of a highly regarded Lloyd’s Syndicate. The successful candidate will work within the Legal & Wordings Department to provide pre-bind quality control analysis to global underwriters to ensure that insurance contracts meet legal, regulatory and business needs. The Wordings & Quality Assurance Specialist will assist underwriters in maintaining a high-quality document issuance process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting pre-bind quality control analysis on all required risks.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to implement legal, wordings or regulatory change to insurance documentation when needed.
- Providing regulatory updates that affect insurance documentation.
- Assisting in review of Company’s branded wording to ensure they are up to date and fit for purpose.
- Providing support to the Legal & Wordings Department and Underwriters, as needed.
Key Requirements
- Recent graduate/school leaver with 6-12 months experience gained in the Lloyd’s/London Market.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail is key. Prior use of LCC or a PBQA review software is beneficial although not essential.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Strong IT skills.
