Claims Recruitment Services has been retained by a Global (Re)Insurer & Lloyd's Syndicate in London to recruit their new Group Head of Claims. Below is a short synopsis of the position and requirements.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will assume the critical role of Group Head of Claims, providing strategic oversight and operational execution across multiple key claims regions & pillars worldwide. This position focuses on ensuring consistent operational approaches, coordinating resource planning, and driving continuous improvement in claims processes through technology and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Group Head of Claims will manage the operational execution and strategic oversight of multiple distinct claims pillars, ensuring consistent operational execution and approach across all locations.
  • This includes coordinating resource planning and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of claims processes.
  • The role will involve generating insights critical to the claims team's performance and driving continuous improvement in processes, leveraging technology such as automation and system enhancements.
  • The individual will partner with and manage experienced Heads of Claims globally, fostering collaboration and building better ideas for future robustness.

  • The role requires strategic capability to improve processes, manage volumes, maintain service, and enhance quality, along with the ability to pre-empt shifts in business needs and adapt resource capabilities accordingly.
