We are currently recruiting for an Energy Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a highly regarded insurance organisation based in the City, with an excellent reputation in the market, and strong flexible working options.
Working within the Delegated Lead team, the successful candidate will handle a varied portfolio of Energy Claims.
Key Responsibilities- Managing and adjusting Energy claims from first notification to settlement within pre-authorised authority limits.
- Adjusting claims on behalf of both current and future SCM clients.
- Providing technical support for the adjusting of various claims.
- Managing and enhancing client relationships.
- Monitoring performance against contract SLAs and KPIs.
- Delivering and presenting reports to clients on specific claims issues.
- Mentoring and training less experienced members of the team.
- Carrying out post-adjustment peer reviews to ensure that technical standards and requirements are adhered to.
- Appointing experts and legal counsel where appropriate.
- Ideally, you will have previous experience as a Claims Adjuster within the London Market, adjusting claims across a combination of various classes of business, including Energy claims. Candidates from a First Party Claims background (i.e. Property Claims, Marine Claims, etc.) will also be considered.
- Experience of handling standard and complex claims in accordance with the Lloyd's Claims Scheme.
- Proven experience in respect of the London Market process, including Broker CLASS @ Lloyd’s and ECF systems.
- Extensive knowledge of the current Lloyd’s Claims Scheme, including CTP guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
