We are recruiting for a Property Claims Handler on behalf a leading specialist brand in the UK insurance market.

Key Responsibilities
- Handling telephone calls from policyholders, brokers, third parties, loss adjusters and other experts on new and existing claims.
- Identifying key triggers requiring escalation or additional review.
- Negotiating and settling claims fairly and proactively.
- Following a defined process and ensuring information is recorded in a clear and consistent manner.
- Meeting and exceeding pre-defined SLAs/targets
- Demonstrating excellent file handling and claims management through pro-active portfolio management.
- Working unsupervised and showing initiative in claims handling approach.
- Promoting and delivering a continuous improvement culture within the UK Property Claims team.
Key Requirements
- Previous property claims claims-handling experience.
- Collaborative and supportive, stepping up when volumes are high without compromising service.
- A self-motivated, adaptable approach with a positive response to change.
- Outstanding communication skills; face-to-face, written and telephone.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly establish credibility and long lasting relationships within the team, the wider business and with external partners.
- Highly results driven, with the energy and determination to succeed in an environment where the pace and quality of response is critical to success.
- Working toward CII qualifications, or willingness to start.
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Copilot is advantageous.
