We are recruiting for a ClaimsOperations Manager on behalf of a new Lloyd’s Syndicate
This is an exciting opportunity for a Claims Operations Manager to joina new Lloyd’s Syndicate and grow the team. Reporting in to the Head of Claims,the successful candidate willdrive performance, enhance processimprovements, and support the delivery of an effective customer focused claimsservice. It is a key role focused onstakeholder collaboration to develop and oversee proactive claims managementand performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and leading the operationaloversight of the claim function.
- Monitoring claims operating model by review ofexisting processes, identifying improvements and implementing changeswhere appropriate.
- Continuing to improve the governance andreporting framework across Syndicate claims.
- Developing a robust oversight framework thatmonitors and manages all risks associated with delegated claims handlingservices.
- Building and developing relationships with keystakeholders.
- Acting as a claims representative oninter-departmental initiatives.
- Co-ordinating and monitoring development ofsystems design and change process where required.
KeyRequirements
- 8+ years’ experience in a similar role ideallywithin Lloyd’s and/or Company Market.
- Proven experience delivering claims-relatedprojects and operational change initiatives.
- Excellent written and oral communicationskills.
- Strong people skills to work effectively andprofessionally with diverse groups at all levels across the business.
- Able to self-lead effectively and work bothindependently and with teams.
- Confident working with systems, data, andprocess improvement initiatives.
- Financially literate within insurance andLloyd’s reporting, KPIs etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MSOffice, Teams, booking systems).
