Claims Adjuster, Commercial D&O and Transactional Liability

We are recruiting for a Claims Adjuster, CommercialD&O and Transactional Liability on behalf of an extremelywell-regarded London Market Insurer.
The successful candidate willevaluate and processclaims accurately, as well as use analytics and insights to drive continuousimprovement in the use of TPAs and third-party experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigatingand resolving a range of claims of a specialist nature.
- Supporting data analysis and reporting to help monitor claims performance.
- Managingestimates and billings calculated by clients and brokers to resolvediscrepancies.
- Identifyingsubrogation, contribution and other recovery issues.
- Supporting the management of disputed or material claims issues.
- Ensuringclaims files are compiled and maintained in a logical and accessiblemanner and that items are clearly documented at all times.
- Supportingthe development of relationships with internal and external customers.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years' technical claims handling experience within a claims function.
- Good understanding of delegated and third-party claims management.
- Experience of working within a claims environment, ideally with exposure to specialised or complex claims.
- Recognisedqualification(s) and/or good practical knowledge of the insuranceregulatory framework.
- Relevant commercial experience within the general insurance industry, with an understanding of claims trends.
- Proficientin MS Office applications; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ableto produce MI and detailed reports at various levels.
