We are recruiting for a Senior Claims Broker - Casualty on behalf of a well respected specialist insurance and reinsurance broker.
The successful candidate will deal with all aspects of casualty claims, processing from first advice through to settlement.
The role requires a proven claims professional with prior experience of handling Energy and US Casualty claims.
Key Responsibilities Managing own accounts and liaising with brokers, account handlers and clients on a regular basis.
Creating and maintaining claims files.
Inputting document details on to the in-house system.
Assessing and processing claims and premiums.
Producing and sending advice and collection documentation, including broking to the London Market where required.
Obtaining agreement to advices and collections via CLASS/ECF system.
Liaising with the Insurance Accounts Department to ensure prompt payments of claims.
Conducting business meetings with clients and reinsurers.
Developing and managing relationships with market representatives.
Monitoring existing book of business to identify threats or weaknesses early.
