We are expanding our commercial team and are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to drive new business growth across the UK insurance market. You may currently be selling into the insurance industry from a SaaS/technology background, or you may be an executive from within the claims and insurance supply chain looking to step into a commercially focused sales role. You will be responsible for securing new business, building a high-quality pipeline, and converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships. You will act as deal owner from lead generation through to close, selling our Synergy Claims Platform and associated services into insurers, brokers, MGAs, and the wider market.
Location: Remote within the UK, with regular travel to London (2/3 times a week)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE (Commission structure to be discussed)
Team: You will become a member of our Commercial team reporting into our Commercial Director.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Generate and progress new business opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong, accurate sales pipeline
- Conduct outbound prospecting and lead qualification
- Deliver compelling presentations and system demonstrations
- Own deals from initial contact through negotiation and close
- Support tender submissions and commercial proposals
- Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting
- Identify cross-sell and partnership opportunities
- Represent the business at industry events and market forums
- Collaborate internally to ensure smooth transition to account management
You will spend the majority of your time (80–85%) actively driving sales activity and closing deals.
If You Come from a SaaS / Technology Sales Background You are likely:
- Experienced in selling B2B SaaS solutions
- Comfortable owning the full sales cycle
- Skilled in outbound prospecting and pipeline creation
- Confident delivering product demonstrations
- Experienced in negotiating commercial terms and contracts
- Used to CRM discipline, forecasting, and pipeline reporting
In this version of the role, you will:
- Sell the Synergy Claims Platform directly into the insurance market
- Build relationships with insurers, brokers and MGAs
- Develop new routes to market through ecosystem partnerships
- Work alongside subject matter experts to articulate industry value
- Drive innovation-led sales conversations focused on operational efficiency, data and claims performance
Insurance market knowledge is highly advantageous, but deep claims operational experience is not essential if you understand complex SaaS sales into regulated industries.
If You Come from a Claims / Insurance Executive Background You are likely:
- Experienced within insurer, MGA, broker or TPA environments
- Knowledgeable in claims operations and delivery models
- Strong understanding of supply chain execution and performance management
- Familiar with claims data, governance and regulatory requirements
- Comfortable engaging at senior stakeholder level
- Commercially minded with experience contributing to tenders or pricing discussions
In this version of the role, you will:
- Leverage your industry credibility to open doors and generate opportunities
- Translate operational pain points into commercial SaaS solutions
- Engage claims directors and operations leaders in strategic conversations
- Support development of compelling, value-led propositions
- Contribute to tenders and commercial submissions
- Strengthen brand presence through industry engagement
While you may not have sold SaaS previously, you must be commercially confident, proactive in outreach, and motivated by revenue growth and pipeline targets.
