Site Operative Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm/9am to 5pm – 40hrs per week London £26,000 per annum We are seeking an experienced Site Operative to join our growing team and help maintain the highest standards across a portfolio of developments in London. The role is vital in ensuring that vacant properties remain safe, clean, and compliant. Key responsibilities include carrying out weekly flushing of all hot and cold water outlets (taps, showers, toilet cisterns, etc.) for at least 10 minutes to prevent stagnation and the growth of legionella and other water-borne bacteria. Duties also include flushing toilets, checking and resetting thermostat temperatures, conducting visual inspections for leaks or damage, wiping down tiles, floors, and outlets after flushing, and preventing limescale build-up on taps, showerheads, and toilet bowls. The Site Operative will also perform light cleaning when required such as dusting skirting boards, ledges, and window sills, and all visits will be electronically tagged and recorded for proof of presence. Regular monitoring and recording of water temperatures (hot water 50°C+, cold water below 20°C) is required, with any issues reported promptly.
