We have two permanent roles available at a smart private residential apartment block in Chelsea. Both Porters will take it in turns to work Saturdays 9am to 5pm and then one will work 7am to 1pm and the other will work 1pm to 7pm therefore each Porter will work an average of a 34 hour week. This is an excellent varied role combining not only maintaining security, reception duties, standard key and parcel management but also be involved in building facilities management to deal with reactive and planned maintenance in the building. Must maintain a log of all occurrences and support enforcing the building’s house rules. The role is also a practical role to become involved in sweeping the front entrance to rotating the weekly domestic refuse and recycling bins for the council collections to changing light bulbs in the communal areas to spot checking the cleaning. It would be extremely desirable to have a candidate who possesses some basic maintenance skills especially painting and a good understanding of building maintenance. xiskglj All candidates must have a strong proven track record, strong self-motivation and initiative where they have proven experience in a unsupervised position before. Must have excellent references, excellent English communication and customer service skills and a positive cheerful disposition
