Senior Service Charge Accountant required at a high-end boutique property management company based in Mayfair, London.
Responsibilities:
- Input service charge budgets and raise charges and demands (when required) in addition to day to day accounting duties.
- Deal with lessees and client queries, attend client or internal meetings.
- Prepare service charge year end to Trial Balance stage manually and on Dwellant within agreed time frame.
- Agree system to the final accounts and carry out close off year end routine.
- Ensure Statutory accounts are filed on time.
- Prepare quarterly/monthly variance reports to clients within agreed time frame.
- Prepare Ground Rent statements.
- Deal with other managing agents on new and lost managements.
- Credit control.
- Deal with multi schedules or mixed-use service charges.
- Prepare client VAT reports.
- Issue S20b Notice when required.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Eye for detail, good team player, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Dwellent and Xero desirable.
