As the Caretaker you will ensure the provision of a high quality of service to all guests and visitors and you will ensure that the development is regularly cleaned, inspected and maintained to a high standard (both internally and externally), in accordance with health and safety requirements. Additionally, you will portray a professional image at all times and will be the first point of contact for all queries related to the maintenance of the development.
Main duties will include:
- Ensuring that the internal and external communal areas of the development are cleaned to the highest standard
- Daily rubbish collection from outside the apartments
- Patrolling the internal and external areas of the building as required
- Providing high levels of customer service to all residents, visitors and external contractors at the development
- Ensuring that the site is a well-managed, safe, clean and secure environment in which to live and work
- Ensuring that all issues are logged appropriately
- Acting as a first point of contact for all queries regarding caretaking issues
Must have a strong proven track record and have proven experience of working in a position of trust, lone working unsupervised. Must have prior experience of delivering excellent customer service, basic maintenance skills, good understanding of Health and Safety requirements and legislation, proven ability to apply best practice in the use of all materials and equipment that is provided to carry out work, excellent communication skills, good IT skills.
