Facilities Operative with a full clean UK/European driving license. Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm with one hour break unpaid (35hrs per week). Greenwich, London SE8. From £23,500 to £26,500 per annum – depending on experience.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities Operative to join a residential development team based in Greenwich, London SE8. This is a full-time, permanent role and the ideal candidate will hold a valid UK or European driving licence with no points.

Responsibilities include:

  • Regular testing and checks of fire alarms, emergency lighting, lifts, doors, riser cupboards and water features, following Health and Safety regulations.
  • General cleaning duties such as jet washing and carpet spot cleaning.
  • Basic gardening duties when needed.
  • Maintaining communal areas.
  • Driving a bin tug on refuse collection days when providing cover for the permanent Estate Operative during his annual leave.

This is a hands-on role offering variety and the opportunity to work within a dedicated team in a well-maintained development. You must have significant experience gained within a similar role, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a good understanding of Health and Safety processes and a full UK or European driving licence with no points. Excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a can-do attitude are essential. Start ASAP.
