Boutique Chartered Building Surveying practice based in Mayfair requires an experienced / Chartered / Senior Building Surveyor to take a key role within their growing team. Working closely with the Director, the successful candidate will be involved in:
- Contract administration of refurbishment and repair projects
- Preparation of specifications and condition reports
- Reinstatement cost assessments
- Defect analysis
- Section 20 consultation processes
- JCT contracts
- Contractor liaison
- Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015
The role offers exposure to high-value residential assets including prime mansion blocks, listed buildings and complex refurbishments, with genuine progression towards a senior leadership position.
The successful candidate must have:
- A minimum of 3 years building surveying experience
- Strong technical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to manage instructions independently
MRICS or working towards chartership preferred. Commercial awareness, organisation and the ability to prioritise in a demanding environment are essential.
