£30,000 to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Afternoon Porter for a prestigious residential development in the Regent’s Park area of London (NW1). The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of building systems and plant equipment and understand whom to contact in the event of an emergency.
The main duties include:
- Monitoring the front desk at all times
- Reviewing CCTV footage to ensure the security of the grounds and development
- Logging and reporting any incidents of disrepair to the Manager or Managing Agent in the Manager's absence
- Monitoring alarms and investigating as necessary
- Investigating and reporting any leaks immediately
- Maintaining a log of cars owned by residents and recording visitors' vehicles
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with other staff, including contract staff
- Completing the logbook and observation book to record all visits and incidents on site
- Securing and managing keys held in the Porters Lodge and recording all key usage in the logbook
- Securing mail and deliveries on behalf of residents and recording items in the logbook
- Ensuring all general telephone enquiries and messages are logged effectively and efficiently
- Assisting in scheduling work and contractors’ visits
- Conducting patrols
- Carrying out routine checks of all fire precautions
- Managing refuse collection twice daily
