CladUp Design Ltd is a design engineering studio specializing in Stage 4 & 5 facade design, including Rainscreen cladding, Precast facades, GRC panels, Window/Doors, and curtain walling. We provide reliable facade design solutions with services such as Co-ordinated facade details, system drawings, and site installation drawings. Our in-house design and technical team produces project drawings and offers technical advice to installers on-site. We have expertise in materials including Cladding, Aluminum Windows, Composite panels, Curtain Walling, and Steel Frame Systems. We are currently looking for a BIM technician to model facade systems and co-ordinate information for our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed façade BIM models (LOD 350–500) including cladding brackets, rails, fixings, tophats, curtain walls, flashings, coping assemblies, SFS etc.
- Produce accurate fabrication-ready models using Autodesk Revit and Inventor.
- Extract detailed material schedules and take-offs directly from Revit/Inventor.
- Conduct clash detection and coordinate models with the wider design team.
- Maintain BIM documentation aligned with project-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with design managers, engineers, and fabricators through the design-to-installation workflow.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Experience in extracting quantities, BOMs, and material schedules from Inventor.
- Minimum 3 years’ façade BIM experience with knowledge of fabrication-level detailing.
- Strong understanding of rainscreen cladding, curtain wall systems, and fixings.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with BIM 360, Dynamo scripting, and Rhino.
- Knowledge of UK façade standards and regulations.
- Degree or diploma in façade engineering, architecture, or a related field.
